Jealousy: The Swift Killer
Of all the emotions in the human palette, the single most harmful is jealousy. Lives get taken over it, great leaders have lost their empires because of it and quite frankly you're a fool if you allow it to take hold anywhere in your life. When people see things they don't have yet, or someone who has excelled at something they don't understand or have previously failed in, the first thing that comes to mind is the deadly green monster. As an evil genius bent on world domination, you must make sure that as you progress on your journey, you don't flaunt your success in the face of lesser people. Even if they have no previous ambition, it will strike a fire within even the weakest men to make your down fall their single mission in life.
Walking In Fog
Although I do not use alcohol or drugs anymore, there was a time in which I did. As a teenager, I was socially awkward and uncomfortable around other people my age. My solution became going to local parties and getting drunk and high. Everyone around me espoused about how rebellious we were being, and how exciting our lives were compared to our parents. What a rush it was to drink until we couldn't remember what he had done the night before. We weren't just confused teenagers as the older people thought, we were outlaws.
This is completely wrong. We were blissfully unaware of the world around us, and as long as we had some beer and a bag of drugs, we were satisfied. What we didn't realize was that we had been duped. We had been programmed, since we were too young to understand, to ignore the fact that intoxication is just the tool the powerful use to subdue entire populations. Alochol, tobacco and pharmaceutical companies produce products with combined death tolls far exceeding illegal drugs, yet they remain legal. There are only two reasons for this: 1) they're heavily taxed by the US government, and 2) because their products keep the population's focus off of important subjects.
